Hi there! My name is Lillie — yes, The Sweet Spot is by me! While many of you know me as the girl behind the cupcakes, there are a few more layers to my story. I’m currently 18 years old and finishing my senior year of high school while also attending Vocational School part-time for Culinary Arts. On the weekends, I work at a local diner, so between two schools, work, and running my small baking business, I’m always keeping busy! When I do get some free time, you’ll usually find me cuddling my two orange cats, Colby and Cheddar, spending time with my sister, or relaxing after a long day in the kitchen.

The inspiration behind The Sweet Spot by Lillie comes from more than just my love for baking — it comes from the memories and people who shaped it. I grew up baking alongside my grandma in the kitchen, and that’s where my love for pastries and sweet treats truly began. From simple recipes to special family desserts, those moments together meant everything to me. When she unexpectedly passed away in 2019, I wanted to carry on what she taught me. Baking became my way of honoring her, sharing her love for homemade treats, and bringing that same joy to my community.

Every cupcake I make is inspired by the lessons she passed down to me and the skills I continue to learn through school and experience. Being able to share my baking with all of you means the world to me, and I’m so grateful for the support that has helped turn this dream into something real.
